Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, technical specifications, designs, processes, operational procedures, knowledge articles, test plans, and test results.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders, users, and IT support staff on best practices and policies.
Develop and enforce governance policies, user guidelines, and security measures for Office 365.
Conduct regular performance and security audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 features, changes, updates, roadmaps, and releases and evaluate their applicability to the organization and recommend relevant improvements.
Monitor performance, availability, and configuration standards of Microsoft 365 services and taking appropriate actions to ensure service levels are met.

Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Office 365 tenant administration, GPO policies, Office client patching, conditional access, PowerShell scripting, MS graph connector, external access, and documentation - Required.
Proven experience as an Office 365 Engineer, with a strong understanding of Office 365 applications and services - Required.
In-depth knowledge of Office 365 administration, including user management, license management, security settings, and compliance features - Required.

Seeking a dedicated Environmental Analyst to lead the coordination of bioextraction initiatives aimed at improving water quality and revitalizing natural habitats within the Long Island Sound. This individual will:
Work alongside internal and external partners and provide overall program development, administration, and coordination of nitrogen bioextraction and related aquaculture activities in the Long Island Sound (LIS).
Review environmental evaluations of proposed projects, manage pilot projects and contractor relationships, and monitor permit approvals to ensure project compliance with regulations.
Develop and monitor funding proposals, workplans and budgets, and report on environmental impacts and economic viability of methods, materials and cost.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
A master’s degree in the natural sciences (marine biology, biology, chemistry, ecology, environmental science, or related field), at least seven years of related professional or technical experience, and demonstrated proficiency in marine ecology, fisheries management, aquatic and terrestrial biology, and GIS analysis.
Knowledge of project management, budget oversight and grant management.
Experience working cooperatively with a broad range of stakeholders in planning and implementing water quality protection programs, and the ability to facilitate and present at large group meetings to a variety of audiences.
Candidates with alternative qualifications or who have taken a less traditional career path may be considered if an aptitude for success and a strong willingness to learn is clearly apparent.
Logistics
This full-time NEIWPCC position will work 7.5 hours per day and is based in Kings Park, NY. Duties will be performed largely in an office setting with occasional field work in variable weather and outdoor settings. Position will require some travel, for which a valid driver’s license and private means of transportation is required. After six months, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, subject to approval and program needs. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 . NEIWPCC offers an outstanding comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees:

Advising the Unit Chiefs, supervisors and other staff on factual, legal, and other matters relating to investigations, proceedings and actions. With Unit Chiefs, devising and implementing strategic plan for efficient allocation of unit resources and creation of systemic training programs. Helping plan unit events including joint events with other law enforcement agencies. Managing the Unit's substantive and procedural receipt and review of tips, complaints and referrals (TCRs). Reviewing memoranda, subpoenas, document demands, and other draft documents. Assisting Unit Chiefs in tracking investigations, filings, TCRs, and other Unit actions. Drafting, planning and assisting in other CACU activities including the creation of reference materials, talking points or speech inserts, SharePoint, and other Unit events.
