A 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in tribute to Canadian Terry Fox and his "Marathon of Hope." In 1980, Terry, who lost his right leg to cancer at the age of 19, began running across Canada in hopes of raising awareness of, and funds for, cancer research. His goal was to raise one dollar per Canadian citizen, which he achieved in February 1981 raising more than $24 million. Terry ran a total of 3,339 miles over 143 days - roughly a marathon a day, before his death a few months later.
