U.S. Department of State Careers in the Foreign Service Networking Event Thursday, February 28, 2013 • 6:00pm - 8:00pm As a former U.S. military service member, I am very proud to continue serving the public with the U.S. Department of State. Being a Foreign Service Security Technical Specialist allows me to use my technical expertise in a way that helps protect confidential information as well as the people working within U.S. embassies and consulates abroad. And I am inviting all U.S. citizens to learn how they can also serve our country. Begin by attending our next Careers in the Foreign Service Networking Event. There, you’ll have the opportunity to meet experienced Foreign Service Officers, Foreign Service Specialists, and Civil Service Professionals and explore career options with the U.S. Department of State. They will explain and discuss the important work you could be doing to represent our country in the U.S. or while living and working abroad.
