U.S. Department of State
Careers in the Foreign Service Networking Event
Thursday, January 24, 2013 • 6:00pm - 8:00pm
I never thought that I'd be responsible for defusing an economic crisis halfway around the world, but my career as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State has been anything but ordinary. I used my communication skills in negotiations between foreign governments and U.S. oil services companies, helping to save millions of dollars in the process. And I'm inviting all U.S. citizens to learn how they can also serve our country.
Begin by attending our next Careers in the Foreign Service Networking Event. There, you'll have the opportunity to meet experienced Foreign Service Officers, Foreign Service Specialists, and Civil Service Professionals and explore career options with the U.S. Department of State. They will explain and discuss the important work you could be doing to represent our country in the U.S. or while living and working abroad.
