SALMONERA: Salmon isn't what it used to be. Ninety percent of salmon eaten in the U.S. is factory farmed, not caught. The fish are raised by the millions in giant floating netpens, all over the globe. Now the booming industry is also putting fishermen half a world away out of business.
TALES OF THE SAN JOAQUIN: The San Joaquin River has been called the hardest working river in America, and at the same time, the most abused. Once the birthplace of thousands of salmon, the river now runs completely dry not just once, but in two separate sections. Join us as we journey 350 miles from its source near Yosemite National Park to its eventual merging with the waters of San Francisco Bay.
