Binary Beading 10:30-11:30 1:45-2:45
What are all those 1s and 0s that make up binary code? And for that matter, what's binary code? Students ages 6 and up learn how computers use this 'digital' language to send, process, and receive information. By using beads to represent a switch's on and off states (1 and 0), students use binary code to pattern their initials in a beaded key chain.
Space is limited and reservations are required. Email museum@intel.com to register (child's name, parents name, age and telephone number) or call 408-765-0503.
Tours will be available at: 12:15 and 3:30. You can also take a self-guided tour and enhance it by using a free audio tour unit.
