Buddy Walk 2006 is a fun-filled family day that helps to expand awareness and build support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families, caregivers and teachers. This annual fundraising event includes a 2.6 mile walk-a-thon from Military Park to the canal and back. Registration begins at 10amthe walk begins at noon. Celebrities, entertainment for all ages, informational activities and free food are also part of the day. The walk is pre-paid participants collect donations in advance, bringing funds the day of the walk, or by contributing online. Everyone is welcome! NOTE: Set-up begins at 5am clean-up is usually finished prior to 4pm. The walk leaves the southeast corner of Military Park, moves north on the canal to St. Clair and back
