An annual event for the community to strut its stuff and offer visitors a day of feasting, dancing, visiting, or just plain having fun. It's also a time to learn about Socorro and the jewels of her valley by way of native food dishes along with arts and crafts booths, an Indian Village, community tours, an array of fun family activities, and a talented lineup of music and entertainment on three stages. A special attraction is the New Mexico Brew and Wine Festival featuring fermented fare from a variety of microbreweries and the fruits of the vine from numerous wineries. At Socorro Fest, patrons 18 and older may purchase a commemorative glass for $5 to sample brews and vino in the Spirits tent.
