"Slick” Science is a summer program for students, age 11 through 14. Professors and instructors at SLCC guide youth in educational, yet fun, science, technology, engineering and math activities. Participants will design and build rockets. These rockets will be launched and measurements taken to determine the apogee. Participants will also build robots and program them to perform various tasks. Also, kids will build an electronic device that makes sounds of differing frequencies.
