FEE: $399or $349/person for two or more An exciting seminar introducing Lean Manufacturing philosophies and techniques. The two day event will include thought provoking, dynamic presentations by internationally recognized consulting group High-Focused Improvement, Inc.
Topics include: · Understanding the Foundations of Lean: philosophy, tools, techniques, and the why. · Discovering the history of Lean, information on waste in the workplace · Applying Lean concepts to shop floors and offices · Learning the Tools in the “Lean Toolbox” such as 5S, Visual, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Poka Yoke (Mistake Proofing), Work Balancing, Takt Time, One-piece Flow Concepts, and Kanban · Learning to implement improvements utilizing the Kaizen Blitz Technique.
Program includes hands-on simulations with the cost model to demonstrate the learned concepts and an on-site visit to a local facility implementing Lean.
